For Google’s Generative AI for Healthcare survey, course, and lab
Yes, you must complete the survey to access the course. After completing the survey, you will be prompted to enter your email address on the last page. The email sent from the survey platform will contain the link to access the course and lab.
If you choose not to share your survey answers, you can select ‘No, I do not want to participate’ on the first question. Your answers will not be included in the data, but you will still receive the access instructions once you enter your email.
Once you complete the survey and enter your email address on the last page, you should receive an email with the links and instructions to access the Google course and lab. If you didn’t receive the email, please check your spam or junk folder. If it’s still not there, reach out to education@dimesociety.org for assistance.
Using an incognito window is recommended to ensure that no conflicting cookies or cached data interfere with the course and lab access. This helps you start fresh and avoid issues with sign-in or registration.
Yes, you can use your existing Google Cloud account to access the course. However, do not use your personal Google Cloud account or project when taking the lab, as this could result in unexpected charges to your account. It’s recommended to create a separate Google Cloud project for the lab or use a different environment specifically for this course. This will ensure that you don’t accidentally incur costs during the lab, especially if certain services or resources are used.
The course takes approximately 1 hour to complete. It is self-paced, and your progress will automatically pick up where you left off.
The lab is timed for 1 hour. Once you start, it must be completed in one sitting. If you run out of time, you can use 1 credit for an additional hour of lab time. You can use as many credits as needed to extend the lab time.
- You will earn 9 Google Cloud Skills Boost credits for enrolling in the course after signing in or creating an account through the link provided after survey completion.
- You will earn 200 Google Cloud Skills Boost credits after completing the lab with a 100% score and spending at least 6 minutes in the lab.
To verify your Google Cloud Skills Boost credits, click on your account icon in the top right corner of the Google course page. Your earned credits will be visible there.
